Assignment Three
For this assignment, you need to knit something in the round. The what is left up to you, based on what sort of item you want to make. To get you started on ideas, I've included a few suggestions below; if you've got a different idea, though, or just need help finding something you like, send us an email for approval or advice.
Suggestions
- Classic Mittens, a timeless pattern with endless possibilities;
- Eleanor Cowl, a pretty addition to a cool weather wardrobe;
- A Hat Fit For a Boyfriend, a simple ribbed hat;
- Hermione's Cable & Eyelet Hat, based on a hat worn in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, a simple and elegant design;
- Knitmore Girls Vanilla Sock, for those who are feeling adventurous enough to try socks;
- Little sister's dress (Kjole til lillesøster), perfect for those with young ones nearby;
- Mitt Envy, a pair of lovely cabled fingerless mitts;
- Slouchy Hat with Picot Edge, a fun hat with a nice decorative edge;
- Susie's Reading Mitts, perfect for cold winter nights;
- Ravelry's search for free, in-the-round patterns, for which you need to be logged into Ravelry to view the results.

Due November 30th. Worth 30 points.

You can send it with the main assignment or on its own; if you send it separately, use the subject Knitwear Extra Credit 3 - ab123 (where ab123 is your HOL ID).
