Assignment

Short Answer (5 points each, 20 total)

1. Dagaz is said to bring the boon of archetypal awareness. If in fact it does, would you consider that useful in Rune work? Discuss briefly.

2. The 'Futhark Method' of Rune-casting produces a sort of unfolding of the Futhark from the inside out. An inexperienced Rune-Caster can find this very confusing. Do you agree? If not, why not? Discuss briefly.

3. The Aspects between Runes are important in reading a 'Futhark Method' spread. Does this mean that the Aspects Chart is actually an ancient diagram that has been kept secret until just recently? Do we know? Discuss briefly.

4, One cannot properly be an effective Rune-Caster without an understanding of Synchronicity. Do you agree? If not, why not? Discuss briefly.

Essay Question (10 points)

Over the past four months, has your connection with the Runes changed? Do you like them more, or less? Do you trust yourself and them more? Or less? Are you more comfortable using them? What is your perception now?
There may be no clear 'right' or 'wrong' answers to this question; this is an open opportunity to express yourself.
Minimum of 150 words.

Extra Credit (30 points)

Tell me how you go about crafting a first-class Query. How do you begin the process? What main considerations must you observe? What are the main points of a really good Query? What must you be careful not to do? How do you recognize a first-class Query when you see or construct one? Anything else you can identify or that you want to tell me?
Minimum of 300 words.
